I strongly believe that half of my patients who say that they're hearing impared would not be if they would just shut up and quit interupting.

Just because a patient arrives early does not mean that they will be taken back early. It only means that the latest they'll be taken back is at their appointment time. I hate when I get a patient and they're complaining about waiting even though I'm still getting them back early.

Once again, we are not running a daycare. A patient comes in with her 3 year old son and says he'll sit still in the dressing room all by himself. Guess who wasn't in the dressing room when we were done. Please, please find a sitter. Don't bring your children to medical appointments that are not for them.

Laziness...again

In my dressing rooms I have soiled linen bins to place used gowns IN. Over half my patients usually leave their gowns on the floor, the chair, the table, or even on top of the bin. The other day I had a patient put her gown IN the bin. What is so unusual about this? She was sight impaired. The one patient who I wouldn't even think twice about picking up after, did what over half my patients refuse or are too lazy to do.

I had a large patient that I was walking to my dressing rooms, she had a cane to assist her and she kept pace with me. It's a good 40 - 50 paces from the waiting room to my dressing room and then 4 -5 paces from my dressing room to the exam room. This woman had no problem walking to the dressing room from the waiting room and back; or from the dressing room to the exam room and back. But, she claimed she had to sit for the exam because her legs weren't strong enough to stand. The actual exam last only 2 1/2 minutes. I just don't understand how people can be that lazy.

Appointment times are not just suggestions. If you want it your way, go to Burger King.

Why would you tell us you have your previous mammo films and then not bring them to your mammo appointment?

RANDOM RANTS

I cannot believe obesity qualifies for disability. Sure, let's encourage the lifestyle that got them there. I myself, am obese, but I would be too embarrassed to go apply. Besides that is not the lifestyle I want for myself or my family. I'm willing to work for my income, I just wish my taxes didn't have to go to those too lazy to do the same.

I had a late patient that brought her 3 year old son with her, claiming she had no choice. He then would not let her go and proceeded to hit, kick, and pinch his mom and she ultimately choose to reschedule.
1. We are not a day care.
2. Don't allow your child to hit, kick, or pinch you, unless you want them to turn into a juvenile
delinquent.
3. Don't try to reason with a 3 year old. Why? A 3 year old cannot reason!
4. Find a babysitter.
5. Arrive early or on time.
